Software Description:
BMOD generates synthetic borehole gravity (BHGM) density logs from pseudo three dimensional geologic sections for use in BHGM survey planning and interpreting field data. BHGM surveys are commonly used in three areas: salt flank mapping; porosity mapping in carbonates; fluid identification and time lapse monitoring of oil and gas reservoirs. The program provides extensive on screen model construction and editing capabilities. The program also includes simultaneous forward calculation of surface gravity and magnetic responses and their vertical gradients. The responses are updated in real time as the section is manipulated using the mouse.Editors Note: Edcon also provide BHGM surveys from conventional wireline trucks.
