Software Description: 
TAPEREAD: Reads tapes on any SCSI tape device. Automatically recognizes standard formats but reads all data from tape even when the format is unknown. Can read past errors and end-of-file marks on the tape to retrieve more data than most comparable programs. TAPEWRITE: Writes standard tapes for LIS, DLIS, SEGY and Atlas BIT to any SCSI tape device. A mandatory verification pass ensures the integrity of the data written to tape.
