Software Title:
RDA Dipmeter Interpretation Software
Software Description:
This software provides structural and stratigraphic interpretation of processed dipmeter data or image derived dips. Techniques include SCAT, stick (apparent dip) plots, several polar projection types of both dips and pole to dip, fold axis plots, tangent plots, rose diagrams, synthetic deviation plots, tadpole or arrow plots, and dip rotation (Residual Dip Analysis). E-Logs, rose diagrams, and deviation tadpoles can be plotted with the dip tadpoles to aid in interpretation. The program can calculate TVD, TVT, and TST and plot dipmeters and other depth related plots in these depth types. Input and output ASCII formats include LAS, user defined, comma delimited, tab delimited, and digiRULE. 16 bit (Windows 3.1x) and 32 bit (Windows 95 and Windows NT) versions are available. The plots are specifically designed for high resolution and work well on laser and ink-jet printers. Many plots can be color indexed by depth, quality, or facies. Colors used in plots can be user defined. Plots can be output as bitmap files for inclusion into other programs. RDA also includes visual display and editing tools along with statistical analysis tools.
